Bike Accidents on the Rise

A recent NHTSA investigation found that 2.1% of all traffic fatalities in this country were cyclists in 2011 and that 48,000 cyclists were injured in crashes with motor vehicles.  Being an avid biker, those statistics really hit home;  if you bike enough, there are some who think an accident is only a matter of time.

Driver Fatigue and "Hours-of-Service" Rules

The ways evidence can be developed for a case is limited many times only by the diligence and imagination of the attorney involved in that case.  For example, when buses and tractor-trailors are sharing the road with passenger vehicles, the results can be disastrous, particularly when those commercial operators have been driving for too long and with too little sleep.
